Daniel 6:8-10

⁸ Now, O king, ^(A)establish the injunction and ^[a]sign the written document so that it may not be changed, according to the ^(B)law of the Medes and Persians, which ^[b]may not be revoked.” ⁹ Therefore King Darius ^(C)signed the written document, that is, the injunction.

¹⁰ Now when Daniel knew that the written document was signed, he entered his house (now in his roof chamber he had windows open ^(D)toward Jerusalem); and he continued ^(E)kneeling on his knees three times a day, ^(F)praying and ^(G)giving thanks before his God, ^[c]as he had been doing previously.
